Taylor Carre raises £200 in memory of Gracie Greenwood
11-year-old Taylor Carre has raised £200 for Gracie Greenwood’s family after having her hair cut for The Little Princess Trust.
Taylor, from Sparthbottoms, had eight inches cut from her hair, which took place at The Riverside Salon at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale.
Her mum, Louise, said: “Myself and my family are so proud of the selfless act of kindness that Taylor chose to do. We hope it’s a little comfort to Gracie’s family for them to know that Gracie touched so many people’s hearts without evening knowing them. Rest in peace, Gracie.”
Gracie died on Monday 1 May after battling a terminal brain tumour. She was just 20-months-old.
The Little Princess Trust requires a minimum donation of seven inches to contribute towards making a real-hair wig for children receiving treatment for cancer.
