Popular home-town DJ Dave Sweetmore has joined the main stage line-up for this year's Rochdale Feel Good Festival.
It will be Dave's eighth appearance at the summer event and he says with 2017 being the festival's 10th birthday it's going to be extra special: "It's an honour to be asked back again to such an amazing festival. Rochdale Feel Good is always one of the highlights of the year for me as not only is it a great event to host, it's in my hometown. This year's line-up is brilliant - what a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a weekend which shows what's great about Rochdale. I think this will be the best one yet - and last year's will take some beating. I can't wait!"
The club, radio, concert and festival DJ is nationally-renowned for his indie tunes and has spent two decades DJ-ing at venues across the country with residencies at many nightclubs and bars, as well as working with bands including the Happy Mondays, James, Inspiral Carpets, Northside and Cast. He's a regular commentator on the North West music scene, always championing new bands and live music.
Dave plays a broad range of music including classic Indie, Britpop, Manchester classics, and 'the best records ever made'. He will get the main stage party started from 1pm on Saturday, 12 August 2017.
He joins previously announced headliner Razorlight, Manchester's Baked A La Ska, Marbelhead Johnson, The Bright Black, The Karpets, fronted by Tom Hingley, Honeyfeet, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band and the Delphina Kings, plus more to be announced this month.
Rochdale Feel Good Festival returns on Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 August 2017, for another showcase of entertainment, food and culture.
