Casualty rescued from vehicle by firefighters

A casualty was rescued from a vehicle by firefighters following a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Smith Street, Rochdale on Wednesday (21 June).
Two fire engines from Rochdale and the Technical Response Unit and the Major Response Unit from Ashton attended and firefighters used a long board, trauma bag and step chocks to rescue the casualty.
The casualty was conveyed to hospital.
