Hopwood Hall College has been rated at bronze level by the official Teaching Excellence Framework.
The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), introduced by the previous government, ranks teaching at universities and colleges across the UK. It draws on information from results, the jobs students go on to do and data from the National Student Survey from the last three years to give institutions a rating.
Julia Heap, Assistant Principal at Hopwood Hall College described her college’s pride in ranking among several top performing UK universities and colleges, she said: “Our bronze rating really demonstrates the strong position we as a college hold at the moment.
“Coming off the back of an Ofsted review where we received the second highest grade possible, I believe there are clear signs of our progression as an educational facility and we are well on the way to earning a silver award in the TEF rankings.”
