Trust shortlisted for national diversity award

Pennine Acute has been shortlisted in the National Diversity Awards 2017 in the ‘Diverse Company’ category.

The Trust was nominated earlier in the year and the judges have put Pennine forward for the final shortlist of 10.

The Trust is competing against the following organisations Wirral Change, Channel 4, West Yorkshire Police, Reed Smith, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, Gateshead College, RBS, Second Battalion the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, and NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.

The final of the awards will be held at Anglican Cathedral on 8 September 2017 at a black tie event.

Naheed Nazir, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “This is great news for the Trust. We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for the National Diversity Awards.”
