Wolstenvale Close, Middleton
A fire in a kitchen at a property on Wolstenvale Close, Middleton began due to an pan of food being left unattended whilst cooking on Sunday (23 July).
Three fire engines from Heywood, Blackley and Chadderton attended and firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and clear smoke.
One person was helped from the property by firefighters.
