Man dies in fall from Queens Park Bridge

Bridge on Queen’s Park Road
A man died when he fell from Queens Park Bridge, Heywood on Saturday.
Shortly before 10:15pm on Saturday (9 September), police were called to Queens Park Bridge, Heywood to reports that a man had fallen from height.
Officers attended and found the body of a 42-year-old man.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file has been passed to the coroner.
A woman died after falling from the same bridge on Queen’s Park Road in Heywood on Monday 31 July.
