Man acting suspiciously on Crossgates Road approached 12-year-old girl

Crossgates Road, Milnrow
A man who was driving a white transit van approached a 12-year-old girl and asked her to get in on Crossgates Road, Milnrow at 5.20pm on Monday (2 October)
The girl ran to safety and police say enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1684 of 02/10/17 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
