Joe Craig, visits Kingsway Park High School
The highly regarded teenage author, Joe Craig, visited Kingsway Park High School recently.
Joe worked throughout the day with different sessions for Year 7 and 8 students about creative writing and his inspirations behind his Jimmy Coates series of books.
The sessions were also extended to Year 5 and Year 6 students from local primary schools, Sandbrook Community Primary School and St Mary’s C of E Primary School.
All students thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the day’s events.
Joe Craig is best known for the Jimmy Coates series of books, which is sometimes described in several reviews as "The Bourne Identity for kids".
He has won several awards for his books and his first novel was one of the biggest selling children's book debuts of 2005 in the UK.
