St John with St Michael spotty celebration day in aid of Children in Need
The children at St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth have had a very busy week and finished off on Friday by holding a spotty celebration day in aid of Children in Need.
For Children in Need the children came in non-uniform and during their food technology sessions this week they made buns and decorated biscuits which they sold.
Whitworth Town Council held a debating session with some of the Year 5 and 6 children as part of UK Parliament Week, and the children gave a good debate about the rights and wrongs of parking in and around the school joined by some local councillors.
The children have also celebrated being part of the Into Film Festival this week by visiting Odeon at Sandbrook Park.
They thoroughly enjoyed Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, Smurfs and Despicable Me 3.
