Trams on Rochdale Metrolink service withdrawn due to vandalism
Date published: 20 November 2017
An ‘act of vandalism’ on the Rochdale via Oldham Metrolink line on Sunday afternoon (19 November) saw three trams withdrawn from service.
Metrolink stopped service for around 12 minutes before the trams were withdrawn.
A Metrolink spokesperson said: “Three vehicles have been withdrawn from service due to the vandalism which has created severe delays on the Rochdale & East Didsbury services. Our apologies once again for any delay to your journey.”
