Consulate services delivered at Deeplish Community Centre

Consulate General Manchester, NADRA team with Sohail Ahmad JP and Cllr Shakil Ahmad at Deeplish Community Centre
The Consulate General of Pakistan delivered services from Deeplish Community centre on Saturday 2 December.
More than 70 families who received help and advice regarding visa applications, National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), and power of attorneys.
Sohail Ahmad JP said: “We are grateful to the consulate and NADRA team for providing the service to the local community on their doorstep, saving their time and journeys. This outreach service is well used by the elderly and children who are unfit for long journeys.
“We appreciate their work the weekend service as it enables young people to continue their education during week days.”
Councillor Shakil Ahmad said: “It is good to see local people benefitting from the consulate service and we appreciate the consulate's efforts in conducting these surgeries at local level. This also gives them a chance to fully engage with the local community.”
Mohammed Saleem JP, chairman of Deeplish Community centre, said: “We are proud to see so many people benefitting from our in-house consulate surgeries. We thank all the consulate staff and officials for taking time on weekends to provide this valuable service.”
