Person rescued from cliff-edge in Littleborough

A person marooned near a cliff edge on Barnes Meadow, Littleborough had to be rescued by fire service personnel using line rescue equipment on Friday (16 February).
Two fire engines from Littleborough and Rochdale and the Technical Response Unit and Major Rescue Unit from Leigh attended.
The casualty was rescued and then checked by a fire service trauma technician.
