'Colours' fashion show raises £850

Date published: 20 March 2018

'Colours' fashion show at St Andrew's, Dearnley, on Saturday raised over £850.

Rev Rachel Battershell said: "More than £850 was raised for church funds but, equally as important, everyone had a good time and enjoyed afternoon tea during the interval.

"It was a great occasion, attended by people of all ages.

“We were shown a wide variety of high-street clothes at cut-down prices."

It was the second 'Colours' fashion show at St Andrew's in the last few months. The first was held in the vicarage, but it proved so popular that it was decided to hold the second one in the church.
