Wardle Football Club is raising £300 for new security fencing at Rutherford Park.
Club Chairman Rik Fielding said: “We are looking to erect new second-hand security gates with fencing at both sides to help secure our facilities and playing fields.
“We want extra security from people that are looking for an opportunity to damage, vandalise or break into our facilities, stopping us delivering grassroots football right though to our open age teams of over 150 members.”
