Easter Party at The Coffee House at Horse Carrs
Staff from Home Instead Senior Care in Rochdale, who provide care to older people in their own homes, came up with a cracking good idea to give their caregivers and clients a real treat for Easter.
The team at Home Instead put on a fantastic Easter Party at The Coffee House at Horse Carrs and also raised funds in a raffle for the Veterans in Communities (VIC) Charity.
The VIC supports those who have served in any of the branches of the armed forces, emergency services and their families who have or are having difficulties with returning to ‘Civvy Street’.
The party included a lovely lunch catered by C & C Catering, all attendees received an Easter egg and a bunch of daffodils to take home. The raffle prizes were donated by The Medicine Tap, Shelly B’s Café, Russell’s Café, The Riverside Restaurant, Crawshaw Butchers, The Fudge Factory and Harris Florists.
David Bradshaw, owner of Home Instead Rochdale said: “We all had such a wonderful time at our Easter party and we are delighted to have raised funds for the VIC.
“I would also like to thank all of the local business who donated a gift for our raffle.”
