Local Rotarians attend Westminster reception

Two members of the Rotary Club of Middleton attended the Rotary International's Westminster Reception hosted by William Wragg MP.

Elizabeth Birkett and Janice Powell joined Rotarians from across the country as they celebrated ten years of volunteering in India by Rotary club members in the drive to eradicate polio in India. 

The Right Honourable Penny Mordaunt MP addressed the gathering of 200 people recognising the efforts by Rotarians who travelled to India to assist in the vaccination of young children.
