A ‘hog roast sausage fest’ at Heywood’s Bay Horse Pub raised over £5,400 for charity on Sunday 6 May.
The hog roast was organised by Amy Tosh and her family, in memory of family friend Paul ‘China’ Yusuf.
A grand total of £5,453 was raised on the day, with £400 going towards a bench and remembrance plaque for Paul at the pub, with the remainder of the funds donated to Springhill Hospice.
Amy said: “It was a brilliant day and we are so grateful for everyone who came help raise money for the charity.”
