Pennine District Scouts who took part in part in an Expedition Challenge
Young people from Scout groups across the Pennine District, which includes Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton, took part in their Expedition Challenge weekend of 30 June and 1 July.
This involved two seven-mile hikes carrying kit, pitching tents, cooking boil in the bag expedition meals on Trangia, map and compass work, and all in temperatures touching 30°.
