KS2 Sports Day will be on Monday 9 July and KS1’s is on Tuesday 10 July, parents can attend from 1.15pm and watch their children take part in a carousel of activities.

Some of the UKS2 children were out at the annual IPLCN cycling event at Spotland school this afternoon. Thank you to the children who represented us so well and well done on your excellent participation at the event.

Any child who has grown out of there PE Kit and pumps we would really appreciate it if you would donate it to school, as we need more spare kit. Many Thanks.

The children have been busy preparing for their end of year play in Year 6 – Noah’s Ark. The performances will take place on the afternoon of Monday 16 July and the morning of Tuesday 17 July and further correspondence for Year 6 families about the times etc. will be sent out soon. Please bear in mind that anyone arriving late to performances will not be allowed in as this is disruptive to the children as they perform.

Photos and videos when in school.

With sports days and plays etc. at the end of year, it is a time when we enjoy welcoming as many parents and families as possible to share in these events. It is very important that all families in school take responsibility for safeguarding. Some of our children are not allowed to be filmed or have their photographs taken. It is very important that any filming or photography from parents on their own devices, therefore, only contains images of their own children and not those of others and that no images of children are uploaded to social media. Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe.
