Metrolink stop smashed by vandals

A Metrolink stop in Milnrow has been smashed by vandals.

Damage to the shelter saw shards of glass covering the platform after the shelter had been smashed by somebody who was not at the stop.

The damage was reported to KeolisAmey Metrolink (KAM) shortly before 6am on Monday (23 July).

KAM Director of Service Delivery Chris Jackson said: “We are working closely with officers from the Greater Manchester Police TravelSafe Unit to investigate the incident and enquiries are on-going.”
