Springhill Hospice Summer Garden Celebration
Springhill Hospice opened its gardens up to supporters young and old as the sunshine and blue skies drew hundreds of people to their now annual Summer Garden Celebration day on Sunday.
Visitors wandered around the award-winning grounds, enjoyed refreshments and browsed stalls and/or sat back and took in the atmosphere and views.
There was also the opportunity to reflect upon personalised dedication sunflower plaques in aid of Springhill’s Sunflower Appeal.
Sophie Ansley,, Springhill Hospice’s Events and Corporate Fundraiser, said: “Our first ever Summer Garden Celebration was so well supported.
“The weather was wonderful, so too was the support, especially from volunteers, local supermarkets and amazing home-bakers.”
The afternoon raised a wonderful £2784.12, which will go directly to care for patients at the Hospice, helping to make ‘Every Moment Count’.
