Immigration Enforcement officers detained a man at a Castleton business on Monday 13 August.

Acting on intelligence, Immigration Enforcement officers visited Crystal Clear Car Wash on Manchester Road.

When officers arrived at the business, one man attempted to leave the premises. He was detained, and checks showed him to be a 28-year-old Iraqi national with an outstanding immigration application.

He was released and must report regularly to the Home Office while his case is progressed.
