Man taken to hospital with stab wounds

A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds on Wednesday (5 September).
The injured man walked into a shop on Manchester Road in Castleton, and the emergency services were called.
A spokesperson for NWAS confirmed: “We were called at 1.53pm and took a male patient in his mid-20s to hospital with major trauma.”
Police enquires are ongoing.
