Community Trust staff will be cycling to Bradford City on Saturday to raise money
Dale In The Community Sports Trust staff members are cycling to Saturday’s match at Bradford City in aid of The Christie Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Keith Hicks, Siobhan McElhinny and Mark Pilling, along with Graham Hicks, are cycling the 36 miles from the Crown Oil Arena to Valley Parade, in time for the Sky Bet League One game between Dale and Bradford City.
Head of Community Keith Hicks said: “It’s for a superb cause.
“It’s going to be a tough one, especially tackling the heights of Blackstone Edge, but it will be worth it to support the fantastic work of The Christie Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.
“My wife, Kathryn, is currently undergoing cancer treatment, so I have experienced first-hand the incredible work that these two organisations put in on a daily basis.
“We would be really grateful of any donation, big or small. Every little helps.”
