Date published: 18 December 2018

Ella Chadwick met Emma Bunton and a host of celebrity friends who brought the magic of Christmas to 2,000 children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. 11-year-old GOSH patient Ella Chadwick was recently honoured with the Child of Courage Award at this year’s Pride of Britain Awards.

Ella’s mum Karen said: “Ella was so excited and has had the best time at the Christmas party. She especially loved meeting all the celebrities and dancing with the fairies, we’re feeling very Christmassy now!”

Organised by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, the parties are a Christmas treat for children currently at the hospital and those who have been cared for at GOSH in the last year.

Special guests including Emma Bunton, Nick Grimshaw, and Stephen Mulhern helped spread Christmas cheer at the annual ‘Snow Ball party’ at the Royal National Hotel in London.

Tim Johnson, Chief Executive of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity said: “The Christmas parties are an important way for children at the hospital to create treasured memories at this very special time of year. I would like to thank all of our wonderful guests for coming along and making this a Christmas party to remember for hundreds of GOSH patients and families.”
