Homeless Alliance Response Team overwhelmed by donations from St Gabriel’s School
The generosity of the children, parents and staff of St Gabriel’s RC Primary School, Castleton has overwhelmed the Homeless Alliance Response Team (HART).
Lisa Clegg from St Gabriel’s School said: “The school supported HART by doing a reverse advent calendar.
“Kind donations of daily essentials such as toothpaste, soap etc. as well as socks, gloves, hats and blankets were brought in by the school community and put into numbered boxes each day.
“Mrs Mary Chadwick, our Chair of Governors who volunteers for the charity collected the boxes and was overwhelmed by the kind donations.
“All items were taken to Champness Hall soup kitchen.”
