Roadworks on Howard Street, Rochdale

Roadworks are in place on Howard Street, Rochdale close to the junction with Falinge Road following a gas leak.
The leak has now been repaired however the road will not reopen until later tonight while the carriageway is repaired.
The temporary traffic lights in place on Howard Street caused chaos yesterday evening (Tuesday 12 February) with locals reporting it taking 2 hours to make a 3 mile journey through the lights.
