Long delays on M62 after lorry collides with central reservation

UPDATE: All lanes are reopen as of 3.50pm. 

A lorry has collided with the central reservation at junction 20, on Tuesday afternoon (14 May).

Lane three of both the eastbound and westbound carriageways have been closed with over two miles of congestion in both directions.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on 14 May.

Speaking via social media at 1pm, Highways England said: “Please be aware, there are long delays on approach to this incident. Approx. 2.4 miles of congestion eastbound and 2.7 miles westbound.”
