Parking charges at Manchester Airport increase from today

Date published: 01 June 2019

Parking charges for those picking up passengers at Manchester Airport have increased from today (Saturday 1 June).

The price increase is in line with other UK airports, and applies to people picking up passengers.

A Manchester Airport spokesman said: “The prices for turn-up car parking will increase by 50p from 1 June. This price increase remains competitive, is in line with other UK airports and hasn’t gone up in more than two years.

“The increase affects those picking up arriving passengers, and those departing who haven’t booked a long stay product. We always recommend departing passengers book their parking in advance online to get the best possible price and car park product.

“In addition to offering a range of car parking products, we also encourage passengers to use the many public transport options when accessing the airport including rail, tram, coach and bus.”

Frequent users such as private hire companies or transfer companies can apply for a discount card.

The new charges will be

  • 0-30 mins – £4.50 (up from £4)
  • 30-60 mins – £7 (up from £6.50)
  • 60-120 mins – £10 (up from £9.50)
  • 120-240 mins – £18 (stays the same)
  • 24hrs – £45 (up from £40)
