Heywood Lions Club, Lion Irene Sagar handing over to incoming President Lion Vera Smith
Heywood Lions Club has chosen a new president for the coming year; Lion Vera Smith has taken over the role from retiring president Lion Irene Sagar.
She said: “I am looking forward to the year ahead.
“I would like to thank Irene for her excellent leadership during another successful year for the club.
“The club will be looking for new challenges as well as carrying on with our current activities like Message in a Bottle, Parateds and recycling used spectacles, etc.”
Heywood Lions Club has been serving the local community for the last 46 years and is looking to build up its membership.
