Study for BTEC Level 3 in Sport with Rochdale AFC's community trust

Dale In The Community Sports Trust are looking for students interested in studying a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport.

The scholarship combines sport and education, with the course delivered from the Crown Oil Arena.

It is a 2 year course aimed at 16 - 18 year old boys and girls which starts in September 2019.

There are daily training sessions delivered by UEFA licensed coaches, with the course offering pathways into university, USA football scholarships, careers in the sports industry, and much more.

Scholar's will study a range of modules from psychology to anatomy to nutrition and the education provider is the LFE (League Football Education). The course is assignment led with no exams.

The Community Trust has a 100 percent pass rate and past students who have gone on to universities such as Manchester Met, Loughborough, Liverpool, Leeds and others who have gained sports apprenticeships within the club.

Students will have 2.5 hrs of education every day, on site in the study centre and 2 hours football training every day on site. Once a week they will compete in the EFL leaugue and represent Rochdale Football Club.

All learners will receive a free training kit and education tracksuit. Plus those eligible will received a weekly bursary and laptop.

Enrolment will take place between Thursday 22 and Friday 30 August, 10am-4pm each day, in the Study Centre, located on Willbutts Lane, Rochdale.

If you are attending enrolment, take some form of identification and your GCSE certificates.
