British Transport Police release CCTV following report of sexual assault at Rochdale railway station

A man has since made himself known to officers in connection with this case.


CCTV images have been released by British Transport Police (BTP), following a report of a sexual assault at Rochdale railway station.

The incident happened between 9.15am and 9.40am on Thursday 18 July.

A man is reported to have entered the waiting room of the station and sat next to a woman.

He then touched her inappropriately.

 

Officers believe this man may have information that could help their investigation

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 175 of 19/07/19.
