All local inquests at the local Coroners’ Court in Heywood have been adjourned until 1 September 2020.
Only inquest openings and documentary inquests will be held.
The court has made this decision in light of the government's announcement about social distancing and non-essential travel.
An update on the inquest page of Rochdale Borough Council’s website states: “We're currently in the process of contacting all witnesses and families affected to update them.”
To attend an inquest opening or documentary inquest by way of a telephone link, please email coroners.office@rochdale.gov.uk in advance of the hearing date.
