Children of key workers create inspiring artwork

Date published: 07 April 2020

Children of key workers at local primary schools have been creating inspiring artwork.

Those at Harwood Park Primary School in Heywood have been encouraging the local community to keep smiling, keep safe and wash their hands.

The children clubbed together to create a banner which includes all the children’s and staff’s handprints, their name and age to show that everyone needs to work together to overcome coronavirus.

Staff hope to install the banner outside when the weather improves.

The children also made collage rainbows and a smaller banner which were sent to a local hospital to brighten the days of doctors, nurses and patients.
