Local chefs inspire residents with Cupboard Heroes initiative

Date published: 07 April 2020

A group of local chefs have teamed up to prevent food waste and inspire the borough’s residents in the kitchen.

The catering teams from The Flying Horse Hotel, Bombay Brew, Quirky Catering Company, The Baum, The Red Lion Inn, The Hare on the Hill, The Oxford, and The Healey have joined forced with Indian cookbook author Misty Ricardio, to offer recipes to those who are feeling a little uninspired during the coronavirus pandemic.

Simply ask a question or share a photograph of your cupboard to their Cupboard Heroes Facebook page, and the chefs will come up with some ideas for you, complete with instructions.
