Santa touring parts of Rochdale and Heywood tonight

Graham Poole Transport and MPS Installations have teamed up to take Santa round parts of Rochdale and Heywood tonight.

There are a few stops on the route where children can have pictures with Santa (socially distanced).

Daniel Shackleton from MPS Installations said: "We just thought we can spread some Christmas cheer after a poor year."

Route for Monday 21 December

4pm - leaving Chichester Street, along Milnrow road to the lights at the Range, straight on towards Milnrow, left on Bridge St continuing to The John Milne 4.15pm, 15 mins stop

Then 4.30pm from John Milne, right on Newhey Road, to roundabout first left onto Sir Isaac Newton Way, to Kingsway. Turn left onto Kingsway, straight across roundabout at Oldham Road and onto Queensway to Jolly Josh at Ensor Mill, Castleton at 5.00pm for a 15 mins stop.

From Jolly Josh, right on Queensway and then right onto Manchester Road. At the Tesco traffic lights, left onto Bolton Road A58 to Heywood, right on Hartley street carpark about 5.30pm for a 15 mins stop.

Back onto Bolton Road towards Rochdale then left onto Manchester Road towards Rochdale town centre. Right onto Drake Street, right onto Milnrow Road and back to base on Chichester Street to finish at 6.15pm. Please remember these times are only approximate.
