Rotary Heywood 2020 donates £400 to Blood Bikes Manchester

A £400 donation has been made to Blood Bikes Manchester by Rotary Heywood 2020.

The cheque was presented by President David Jones to Alan Burrill of Blood Bikes on Sunday (21 February).

The rotary club said it was “privileged to be able to support such an organisation.”

Blood Bikes Manchester helps the NHS by rapidly transporting and delivering blood and other medical equipment between hospitals.

Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland is a membership and humanitarian service organisation. Through membership of their local Rotary club, members use their time and talents to make a difference in their own communities and around the world.

There are two clubs in Heywood; Rotary Heywood 2020 and the older Rotary Club of Heywood.
