Free digital and employability skills training course in Middleton

Date published: 17 May 2022

A free digital skills and employability training course is being delivered every Wednesday for people aged 18-69 at Demesne Community Centre in Middleton.

Soul Sisters: Empowering People is working in partnership with Demesne Community Association and Good Things Foundation to deliver the training course for people aged between 18-64 years old.

Registered attendees will have the opportunity to learn and develop their basic digital skills.

Support with CV writing and applying newly learned digital skills to search and apply for any relevant online job listings will also be made available for individuals looking to get back into work or education.

Two open mornings on Wednesday 18 May and Thursday 19 May will run from 9am to 12 noon at the community centre, providing the chance to register your interest or simply learn more about how this new and exciting course can help you advance your digital skills and employment prospects.

Soul Sisters: Empowering People will also be running drop-in sessions, one-to-one sessions, and group sessions (dates to be confirmed), from the charity and community hub The Better Together Building, the former M&S (opposite the Rochdale Exchange).
