Free introductory course for level one youth work at Middleton’s Burnside Centre

A free introductory course for level one youth work will run at Middleton’s Burnside Centre this September.

The 12-week programme will run on Wednesdays at the Burnside Centre between 7 September and 23 November for those interested in exploring a career in youth work.

To be eligible for the course, you must be aged 19 or over, and be either unemployed or earning less than £19,305 per year.

The course is provided by The Training Brokers with various further progression routes after completion, including level two qualifications, volunteering, mentoring, youth support work or support work in schools.
