Entries for Littleborough Scarecrow Festival close on 25 August

Date published: 08 August 2022

Littleborough residents have until 25 August to submit their entries for this autumn’s scarecrow festival.

This year’s Littleborough Scarecrow Festival will take place from Saturday 17 September until Saturday 1 October 2022 and will raise funds for local children’s charity, Jolly Josh.

A map of all scarecrows on the route will be published in time for the trail, which can be picked up from The Co-op, The King Bill, The Cherry Tree Café or Sainsbury’s.

The first festival last year raised £512 for Reuse Littleborough, and saw 136 scarecrows featured on the route, which spanned from the White House to the Ox and Plough, to Hollingworth Lake, Summit and Shore.

Scarecrows should be on display on Saturday 17 September at 10am until Saturday 1 October 2022 at 10am.
