Wardle Scarecrow Festival 2022

Date published: 06 October 2022

Creative residents of Wardle have once again put on an amazing show for this year’s Scarecrow Festival, organised by Craft Cottage.

Over 40 Scarecrows have been entered into the festival by local businesses, families and community groups. So, grab your map and head out into Wardle Village on to find all of them before the end of the festival on Sunday 9 October.

Maps are available from the following businesses:

  • Craft Cottage open Thursday and Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturday 10am - 2pm
  • Charlie's Coffee & Cakes open Thursday to Saturday 9am - 4pm
  • Wardle News open 7am - 8pm daily
  • Tattersalls Bakery open Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, Saturday 8am - 12.30pm

There are also nine letters hidden around the village for you to find and solve the mystery word.

The maps cost £1 with all proceeds going to Jolly Josh.
