Littleborough business partners with Action for Children

Date published: 08 November 2022

A Littleborough business has partnered with Action for Children to raise money for children living in poverty this winter.

Jenny Piggott runs BossBabs, which makes empowering children’s products, and with the cost-of-living crisis, she wanted to give back to children in need this Christmas.

With this in mind, Jenny created the idea of ‘the Box of Dreams’, an empty box ‘filled with nothing but dreams’ that people can buy to support Action for Children, a charity that supports children in the UK living in poverty.

Jenny said: “With the cost-of-living crisis I wanted to create something which could give back to kids who needed help this Christmas and so I thought of creating the Box of Dreams and sent my idea to the charity Action for Children, who I've proudly partnered with.”

The Box of Dreams is made from rigid board and covered in wipeable fabric. Felt letters are sewn on to complete the box.

“It's win-win as your child gets a cool new toy box – and let’s admit it, they always love playing with the box more than anything anyway! – and kids who are in need of a warm meal, a warm house and clothes, and maybe a Christmas present this year will get that from the profits raised,” mum-of-two Jenny added.

100% of profits from the Box of Dreams will be donated to Action for Children, and can be purchased directly from the BossBabs website.
