Salt Separation Services raises £1,400 for Springhill Hospice

Date published: 20 December 2022

Employees at Salt Separation Services have raised £1,400 for Springhill Hospice with their Christmas attire day on 9 December.

Staff donned their most festive apparel for the occasion, which also featured a raffle with prizes including a hotel stay for two nights, hampers and gift cards.

In total, 31 prizes were donated from companies which supply to Salt Separation, and local companies around Rochdale and Heywood.

QHSE co-ordinator Kim Zallmann said: “This is the second time we have held a Christmas raffle. Last year we raised £1,000 for the hospice, so we were surprised that we beat that this year, especially as it’s such a difficult time for people, financially.

“Employees also donated to the food box for Angie’s Angels Community Hub Group throughout November which I delivered dressed as a reindeer.”
