Starbucks opens at Rochdale Riverside

Starbucks has opened a new branch of its popular coffee shops at Rochdale Riverside.

In a prominent position opposite H&M, the new Starbucks café has created 12 new jobs in a further boost to the local economy.

The new café features Starbucks' range of classic hot drinks, alongside the new summer menu of frozen drinks and a tempting food menu.

The town centre venue has a contemporary design with free wi-fi and also offers a range of reusable cups, mugs and sweet treats for people to enjoy at home.

Caralyn Tuite, the store manager said: “We are excited to open our new store and look forward to welcoming the Rochdale community.”

Rachel Byrne, Centre Manager at Rochdale Riverside, said: “We are delighted to welcome Starbucks to the Rochdale Riverside family.

“This new store is a great addition to our current offering and provides even more choice for our visitors and a place for people to meet.”

Councillor Danny Meredith, cabinet member for regeneration and housing at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “We are delighted to welcome Starbucks to Rochdale Riverside. It is a welcome addition to a great range of shops and eateries which include New Look, Next, Heavenly Desserts, Marks & Spencer and Nando’s, to name a few.

“The new store has created 12 new jobs which is a really positive investment for the town and the people of Rochdale.”

The new store is open from 7am to 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.

Customers can also order via the Starbucks UK App, available for iPhone and Android, via Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
