Wardle Academy's GCSE results day
Staff and students at Wardle Academy are celebrating another successful year of GCSE results, with a significant increase in the number of students achieving a strong pass in English and maths.
Special commendation goes to Harvey Spiller (six Grade 9s and three Grade 8s); Jake Marcella (six Grade 9s and two Grade 8s); Harry Wildman (five Grade 9s and four Grade 8s) and Annie Wilkinson (five Grade 9s and two Grade 8s).
Headteacher James Glennie said: “We are so proud of this year group as they were hard-working role models who never failed to impress us with their diligence.
“Their preparations for examinations and their conduct was nothing short of exemplary. We feel immensely proud of the contribution they made to Wardle Academy and wish them all the very best for their future.”
