Win a £50 gift voucher with Christmas elf trail

Date published: 01 December 2023

December is the most important time of the year for Santa’s elves – keeping his workshop running, adding children’s names to the nice and naughty lists, and getting up to mischief in our homes whilst keeping tabs on the children – and this year’s is proving no different!

Fourteen of Santa’s cheekiest helpers – each with a letter of the alphabet – have sneakily visited businesses in Rochdale town centre again with your best interests at heart.

The letters spell out a fabulously festive word, which can then be used to enter a prize draw for a £50 town centre business.

The Elf Trail from the Rochdale BID

Paul Ambrose, BID Manager, said: "Our Christmas town centre trails aim to showcase our wonderful town and its businesses at this most magical time of the year. But this year Santa is very cross that his elves have run off without his permission and he is concerned for their 'elf and safety'.

"He has been in touch with the BID office and has asked if everyone can do the trail in the hope of finding all the elves so that they get back to the workshop at the North Pole and finish wrapping all the presents."

Everyone who completes the trail can enter the draw and the winner can pick where the voucher is for.

Trail maps can be picked up from Bean at the Number One Riverside council offices and completed maps posted in Santa’s Post Box opposite Nando’s at Rochdale Riverside.

The trail finishes on 31 December.
