Animal Microchipping Event - RSPCA Hollingworth Lake Animal Centre

Saturday 8 June 2024 - Sunday 9 June 2024 10.30am - 4pm (by appointment only) -

Is your cat, dog or rabbit in need of microchipping? At this event, owners can get their animals chipped for £10, which is half the price that it usually costs!

Urban Sketching with Len Grant - Rochdale Town Hall Square, 10am

Tour of Britain Women's race - Expected to arrive in Rochdale Borough at 12.00pm

The 99.2km route is scheduled to start in the National Cycling Centre in Manchester and travel anticlockwise around Greater Manchester, through Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Wigan before heading to Leigh for the finish.

Whitworth Commemoration of D Day 80th Anniversary - The Ashcroft, 2pm - 6pm

The event will include entertainment from National Champions Whitworth Vale and Healey Brass Band, the highly entertaining u3s ukelele band and the beautiful voices of Whitworth Community Choir.
