Two taken to hospital following lorry crash

Two people were taken to hospital following an accident on the M62 in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 23 March 2011).
The incident, involving two large goods vehicles, happen just after 3.30am on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway between junction 21 at Milnrow and junction 22 Rishworth Moor.
Fire-fighters were called to the scene at 3.39am on arrival they were faced with one lorry on fire and the other on its side.
Both drivers were out of the vehicles when the fire service arrived and were taken to hospital by ambulance for a precautionary check up.
Fire crews from Heywood, Ashton and Elland attended.
