Man arrested following fail to stop collision

A man has been arrested following a fail to stop collision in Rochdale.
Shortly after 2.45pm on Saturday 13 April 2013, a car that was travelling around the mini roundabout outside Rochdale Train Station collided with two men.
The incident happened on Station Road and the car, which is described as red Ford Focus failed to stop.
Two men were taken to hospital, one of the men aged 52, suffered injuries to his arm and hip and the other aged 36, suffered a head injury. They have both been discharged from hospital.
Officers are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, he has been bailed until 14 July 2013 pending further enquiries.
